Achievements

Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFIs) Distribution:
- Distributed shelter kits and NFIs to 1,500 households, totaling 10,914 individuals, including 1,908 boys, 1,700 girls, 3,652 men, and 3,074 women.
- 225 households (312 individuals) included people with disabilities.
Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM) Survey:
- conducted a PDM survey which indicated significant improvements in living conditions for beneficiaries following the receipt of shelter kits and NFIs.

Impact

The project successfully addressed the immediate needs of 1,500 displaced households (10,914 individuals) by providing emergency shelter and essential non-food items. This intervention improved the living conditions of beneficiaries, reduced their vulnerability to environmental risks, and enabled them to rebuild their homes and regain stability. The PDM survey findings confirmed the positive impact of the assistance, with beneficiaries reporting improved shelter conditions and increased dignity. The project significantly enhanced community resilience, as evidenced by the return of beneficiaries to their original homes.

PDM survey findings: 97% of respondents were aware of the fair selection criteria; 98% reported satisfaction with the items received; 96% were very satisfied with the distribution quality; 83% felt the attendance met their urgent needs; 85% reported improved ability to prepare food due to better household and shelter items; the majority 99% felt respected and secure, and almost all were informed about the process and complaint mechanisms.
