Impact

The RISE project has achieved substantial progress in empowering women’s economic resilience, enhancing climate adaptation, and fostering social inclusion. Through the establishment of SACCOs, promotion of climate-smart agricultural practices, and development of capacity-building tools, the project is enabling women to take leadership roles within their communities, engage in economic decision-making, and strengthen sustainable livelihoods. As of December 2024, these efforts are yielding positive outcomes, improving economic opportunities, financial inclusion, and climate resilience for women and girls in the Somali Region.
