Provision of Light Vehicles rental & Freight Transport Services – Somali Region, Ethiopia

CAAP, a local NGO, invites qualified service providers to submit bids for a two-year FWA for light vehicle rental (Lot 1) and freight/truck transport services (Lot 2) in Somali Region, renewable based on performance and needs. Bidders can apply one or both lots, each evaluated and awarded independently. Potential suppliers can collect tender documents and submit sealed ITT responses in person to the Logistics Department at: CAAP Office, Kebele 07, JigJiga, Somali Region, Ethiopia

 Eligibility Requirements

• Valid and relevant Business License, VAT, ToT, Taxpayer, Tax Clearance Certificates
• The company owns or leases at least 10 light vehicles (Lot 1) and 5 trucks (Lot 2) with valid registration, lease, and insurance documentation
• Bid Security: ETB 100,000 (One hundred thousand birr), in the name of “Community in Action Against Poverty (CAAP)”, unconditional CPO or bank guarantee, valid for at least 90 days from bid submission date, enclosed in a separate envelope within the Original Technical Proposal. The bid security amount is fixed regardless of the value of the bid or the number of lots applied to.
• Signed and stamped Tender Declaration, and confirmation that the bidder is not suspended or debarred by the Government of Ethiopia, UN, or INGO partners.

• Bidders failing to provide any of these documents will be disqualified at the administrative stage.

Submission Instructions:

• Submit in English in two sealed envelopes (Technical & Financial) with the company seal, enclosed in one outer envelope indicating the tender reference, Lot(s), and title.
• Submission Location: CAAP JigJiga Office, Kebele 07, Somali Region, Ethiopia
• Late or electronic submissions will not be accepted.
